Blade

Our classic handmade Bread knife is perfect for slicing breads,  sourdough, and pastries. 

The serrated blade is made in Solingen, Germany from X50 Stainless steel, which resists rust whilst maintaining a sharp edge and is hardened to a Rockwell rating of HRC 56 +/- 2. 

Handle

Our handles are made from recycled, broken boxes and crates. They are used daily to land catch at the quayside and within the food supply chain. Once damaged, they are typically destined for landfill — instead, we give them a second life.

Each box is sorted by colour before being washed, and shredded in-house. They are then carefully moulded into our knife handles. The blended waste plastic creates a natural marbling, impossible to replicate or predict, ensuring every single knife is entirely unique.

Details

This knife has an purple handle with light and dark marbled elements, which comes from the plastic recycled to make it. Each knife is handmade. Please allow 4 working days for dispatch.
