Chef & Nakiri Mixed Set

Our classic handmade chef's now comes in a set with our classic Nakiri.   

Our Chefs knife is great all rounder in the kitchen, perfect for prepping fruit, vegetables or trimming meat and poultry, the perfect gift for any foodie. Our Nakiri is the perfect compliment for prepping vegatables.

The blades are made  from 1.4116 (X50) Stainless steel from Solingen, which resists rust whilst maintaining a sharp edge and is hardened to a Rockwell rating of HRC 56 +/- 2. 

The handles are made from recycled broken fish boxes collected directly through our Scottish Harbour collection programme. The food grade boxes are used in the harbour by fishermen, when landing there catch and if broken, sent to landfill. 

We collect, wash and shred each box in house. Then we mould the shredded plastic into the hands for our knives. Each handle has a marbling pattern from the mix of waste plastic which is difficult to predict making each piece unique.
